As a child I was one of those girls who could literally eat whatever I wanted and not gain a pound. I was basically a size 4 my whole adult life until I got married and started eating really late dinners when my then husband came home from work.
For some reason, in only recently occured to me why this was so. I never had an appetite in the morning for breakfast and although I had a great mom, most nights there wasn't any dinner. I know it sounds bad, but it was a very carefree type home where we'd make our own dinners, like cereal, or cream sandwiches.
I loved the school lunches. I know, that's wierd, but they were really good. So when it cam lunch time - I ate A LOT. Then when I came home I'd have something very light - under 200 calories for sure.
I realized, that this is the trick. You have to eat a heavy or big lunch and a very light dinner. After all, most people on the eastern side of the world follow this diet lifestyle everyday.
So today I started.
Here's what I ate:
Breakfast: 7/11 Large coffee with fat free milk and 3 splenda. Plus i weight watchers chocolate chip cookie (my favorite cookie cuz at 90 calories it fills you up and has 4 grams of fiber.
Lunch: Fried and breaded chiken cutlet salad with lettuce and tomatoes and cucumbers with thousand island dressing. Plus a 6" pita bread.
Dinner: 4 Wasa crackers with smart balance margarine and sliced tomatoes.
Oh, and I still have to switch my diet soda for water one of these days, but that's not gonna be today. :)
Weight as of this morning: 160 lbs
